Castro Marim Castle
Raiana fortress, in a dominant position on the Castle hill, protected at the time, the crossing point on the right bank of the mouth of the river Guadiana. Facing the Castle of Ayamonte on the opposite shore is the Ex-libris of the village and considered by the scholars as one of the most significant monuments of the Portuguese Middle Age in the region. Saline SPA

São Sebastião Fort
The fort in the Serra do Cabeço, where a hermitage existed initially under the invocation of São Sebastião, demolished during the fortification works. Its importance stems from being the best preserved example of the extensive process of renovation of the village’s defensive system in the mid-seventeenth century.
Revelim de Santo Antonio
Built on an elevation known as Zambujal rock, east of the São Sebastião de Castro Marim Fort, it complements the defenses of the village, at the mouth of the Guadiana River, with the function of guarding the crossing and navigation of the river. This was ordered by the Council of War of D. João IV (1640-1656) during the period of the Restoration War.
Praia Verde
Praia Verde is a beach located between Alagoa and the Cabeço Beaches, and is sheltered by a pine forest of meager pines of the many of which were chopped down in the west zone for housing construction. With crystal clear water and white sands, Praia Verde is one of the jewels of the Algarve.
