It´s almost Halloween, our favourite party! Here is some party idea´s so you can give the best party!
First, you have to think about the decoration in your house!
Here are some examples, the most things are really easy to make by yourself!
What you need:
- Milk bottle
- Black marker
Drink or empty the bottle was it. And make a scary face on your bottle!
What you need:
- Orange yarn
- 12-inch balloon
- Pipe cleaners
Blow the balloon, smaller than normal. Just like an egg. Cut about 21 pieces of yarn about 36 inches long. Tie one of the pieces of yarn to the end of the balloon. Pour the glue into a small bowl. It takes about one full 2-ounce bottle of glue per yarn pumpkin. Dunk one of the pieces of yarn into the bowl of glue, and swirl it around gently with a plastic fork to get it completely covered with glue. Take the glue covered yarn strand and press the end down somewhere and wind it around the balloon, making sure the press down the ends of the yarn to secure them when they’re in place. When you’re done, find somewhere to hang the yarn covered balloons to dry. I squeezed all of our jackets to one side in our coat closet and hung the balloons there. It took a full 24 hours for them to dry.
What you need:
- Glass jars or vases
- Gauze
- Googly eyes
Tape a gauze end to the top of the glass, then wrap and twist as you wind your way down the jar. A dab of glue will hold the gauze in place and affix the googly eyes.
What you need:
- Strand of White Lantern Lights
- 2 Yards White Cotton Fabric
- White String
- Scissors
- Black Sharpie
Cut ten 14″ squares. Fold them into a triangle and cut the tip off to create a hole in the centre of the square. Carefully remove the lantern from the light. Thread the light through the hole in the square piece of fabric. Carefully secure the lantern back in place and wrap the fabric around the sphere. Tie a piece of string around the bottom of the sphere to hold the fabric in place. Using a sharpie, draw ghostly eyes and a mouth!
What you need:
- Glow sticks (the bracelet ones)
- Twine
- Kraft paper
- Double sided tape
- Cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
Cut a piece of kraft paper to be approximately 7.5″ x 5″. It doesn’t need to be exact. Anything within an inch or so of those dimensions will work.
Draw a light line to use as a guide for your cut marks.
Cut out thin strips of paper up to your pencil line to give it the broom effect. Each one was about 1/8″ wide. I felt like I was making little hula skirts. It took awhile, but it was worth it.
Add a long strip of double-sided tape to the edge of the paper. Position the glow stick so the plastic clip thing is just below the tape. Start rolling the paper around the glow stick. The double-sided tape will hold it all together as you go. Keep on rolling until the paper is entirely rolled up. The rolled up paper ended up giving rounded looking brooms and the flat paper gave stick straight brooms. If you’re making these for yourself, and you want them all to be the same, make sure all your pieces of a paper curve the same way. Then you make labels met a sentence. tied the twine in a little bow around the top of the broom part.
