Alvor | A must see in the Algarve

Alvor Boardwalk

With a 6km length, the Alvor Boardwalk is the biggest boardwalk in the Algarve. It links the riverfront area with the beach and provides stunning views.


Riverfront

Probably one of the best places in the Algarve to have a great fresh shellfish dinner. Between the river front and the side narrow streets, coffee shops, restaurants and bars are available to fulfill all your needs.

Alvor Church

The Main Church of Alvor was built in the 1520s and has the most beautiful Manueline portico in the region. The interior you can the tiling of 18th-Century and the beautiful images over the 6 altars. There is also the miraculous image of “Lord Jesus”, which, according to legend, washed ashore and was placed at the altar by Alvor fishermen.

Tandem Skydiving

If you’re looking for a more extreme and radical experience, definitely the skydiving is a must do.
